Horsemanship: Basic Skills is a program for 7 to 15 year old's to learn all things horsey in preparation for horse ownership.
Riding lessons and activities are great fun but do you know all the other things that need to be known so you have a happy and healthy horse?
This program is specially designed by Kathy Angel, Manager and Senior Instructor at The Riding Patch.  Each student will build a sound knowledge base incorporating both theory and practical experience.   There are fabulous learning sessions plus a final graduation session with a horse ride, games and presentation of certificates.

COST: 
All educational materials and sunscreen provided.
Student numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, covered shoes/riding boots and covered shoulders.

Holiday Horsemanship: Intermediate Skills is a program for 7 to 15 year old's to build on their knowledge gained in the Basic Skills program.
The Riding Patch Horsemanship programs prepare our students for horse ownership. Learning includes 
• furthering their knowledge on horse anatomy with a closer look at teeth and feet; 
 • exploring some basic ailments and 
 • introducing tack and horse handling. 
 This program is also specially designed and presented by Kathy Angel, Manager and Senior Instructor at The Riding Patch. Each student will build a sound knowledge base incorporating both theory and practical experience. The program finishes on day four with a celebration party and riding lesson. 
Each student will receive a Certificate of Attendance. 

NEXT INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM:   11th - 14th July 2017
