Our Equine Rehabilitation service supports owners in consultation with vets and other horse health professionals providing care for horses that require additional support during recovery, reconditioning and strengthening, or periods where owners are unable to provide the level of daily management their horse may need.

Horses in our care may receive:

Daily monitoring of comfort, movement, and wellbeing
Stabling or managed turnout
Bandage changes and basic wound care
Administration of owner-supplied medications
Individual rehabilitation and conditioning plans
Use of the Equitread system as appropriate
Controlled exercise and reconditioning work

All care is carried out by experienced staff, with attention given to both physical needs and overall horse welfare.

4m x 5m stables with padded stable comfort flooring
Day yards: post and rail with horse mesh

Equine Rehabilitation at The Patch is designed for situations where horses require a higher level of daily care than an owner may be able to provide due to time constraints, work commitments, distance, or personal circumstances.

Owners can have confidence knowing their horse is receiving consistent, attentive care in a structured environment, while remaining actively involved in decisions around their horse’s rehabilitation and ongoing management.
