NDIS at The Riding Patch

The Riding Patch is an Accredited National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider in Innovative Community Participation.

We provide a range of horse programs both mounted and unmounted for people with disabilities including cognitive, emotional, social and/or physical.    


Our qualified instructors will provide programs that will create opportunities for the individual and a safe place to build life skills with the aid of horses. 


Participants can reconnect with recreation, wellness, adaptive riding and/or competitions. 

The Riding Patch NDIS programs are catered to the needs and directions of each individual participant and provide the following benefits:

    • Improving self-esteem 

    • Increasing self-confidence

    • Increasing social awareness 

    • Reducing stress 

    • Developing balance and coordination 

    • Improving working memory skills

    • Developing gross motor skills

    • Developing fine motor skills

    • Increasing core strength and muscular control

Working with horses can offer opportunities for individuals to achieve things that may seem impossible.
